Regions of Missouri
B Regionals 8
C Regionals 8
Type Closed

Missouri has historically been divided into 8 regions, serving the state's 114 counties (and one independent city). Each region holds both a Division B and Division C tournament, which typically occur at the same time. However, certain regions may hold separate tournaments for each division. These tournaments are closed, and teams must attend the tournament for the region that they are located in. If a team competes well enough at the tournament for their region, then it will advance to the state tournament.

Missouri's regional map has changed two notable times—once in 2012 and again in 2015. In 2012, the state's regional lines were redrawn to include a ninth region known as the South Central Missouri Regional (or simply Region 9). This region was short-lived however, and was dissolved in 2015 resulting in the state's current regional lines.
