General Info
Simpson Middle School is a junior high school located in Flat Rock, Michigan. Their Science Olympiad team is dubbed the "Nerd Herd". In 2010, the team earned an 8th place finish at the Region 8 regional competition, achieving a top 10 finish in the following events: 1st in Dynamic Planet, 2nd in Disease Detectives, 4th in Bio-Process Lab, 4th in Meteorology, 5th in Fossils, 6th in Anatomy, 6th in Wright Stuff, 8th in Can't Judge A Powder, 8th in Road Scholar, 8th in Solar System, 8th Science Crime Busters, 8th in Shock Value, and 10th in Physical Science Lab.
