Slauson Middle School is a Division B school which is located in Michigan's Region 9. Having participated in Science Olympiad since its start in 1983, Slauson was both the Michigan and National champion of 1985 and 1986. In recent years, they have established themselves in the top 15 at the Michigan state competition, achieving 3rd place finishes in 2015 and 2016, and 1st place in 2018.
