There is a lot of conflicting information about the taxonomy and structure of Astraeospongia. https://www.jstor.org/stable/1300159?seq=1#metadata_info_tab_contents reports that the spicules are originally silica (which seems to go against the fossil list saying that it is a "calcareous sponge." Does anyone have any input on this? --UTF-8 U+6211 U+662F (talk) 16:44, 16 October 2020 (UTC)

I deleted the taxonomy of Astraeospongia and the claim that it is made of calcium carbonate for now. --UTF-8 U+6211 U+662F (talk) 16:50, 17 October 2020 (UTC)
If anyone could find a reliable source for the taxonomy of Hydnoceras, that'd be cool too. --UTF-8 U+6211 U+662F (talk) 18:39, 17 October 2020 (UTC)

I deleted "mostly found in Michigan" from the Favosites entry. If someone finds a source for it, feel free to add it back. --UTF-8 U+6211 U+662F (talk) 15:28, 17 October 2020 (UTC)

Can anyone find a source for Isotelus living in deep marine environments? --UTF-8 U+6211 U+662F (talk) 12:51, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
