Evan Xiang, "Bananasauras" "judge bananamallow" "bananasauras is out of hiding" is an eighth grader that attends SSA (shady side academy, not the invalid congruence theorem ). He is known for suing anyone for a) termination of braincells and b) eating bananas and banana-related food (banana aboose). Notable accomplishments by banana include killing shrimp (sanjitsarda) and placing at state. Banana plays tennis and codes as a hobby and talks about meteo occasionally.

2020-2021 Season

This was the second season the Banana competed in Science Olympiad, Banana mainly focused on the events of Dynamic Planet, Meteorology, Codebusters, and Game On. Banana was thrown in game on after eagle because of reasons he does not want to disclose. Banana favorite tests are all meteo tests written by Padre. Bananas crowning achievement for the 2021 season is placing 1st in meteorology at the BirdSO Invitational.Banana also is co-writing the meteorology exam for the Lexington Invitational. Banana wishes Harlan Rowe the best of luck at nationals and is looking forward to next year. Overall looking back on this season, Banana is kinda nostalgic, the feeling of online tourneys was fun but also lacking. He is proud of his achievements and looks back to this as his best, most favorite season yet! He does admit he was very cringe in Blue! He also founded the Federal Bird(or bonk ;)) Intelligence(FBI) server over last year filled with close friends and competitors from online of his.

2021-2022 Season

The 2021-2022 season will be Banana's 3rd year participating in Science Olympiad. His events are EXPD, Dynamic Planet, Meteorology, Storm the Castle, Sounds of Music, and Electric Wright Stuff. Banana is looking forward to seeing his Meteo results and is building new planes as he writes this! So far his crowning achievement is a gold medal at the Solon Invitational!

Banana thought this tournament was very high quality, overall he was really satisified with results and thought that all of the tests were of very high quality. This was his first tourney of 2022, the meteo test was a war crime due to the 3 Koppen classification questions. Banana truly has no idea how he got 3rd while soloing. His record vs Aptdon in meteo goes to 5-3

Westlake

Overall this tournament was hectic, and Banana disliked it. Many of the tests seemed to have been made in a rush though he appreciated the effort by the meteo writer to at least put some climate proxy application questions on the test. He feels that the team should have gone to SONI, but who knows.

Solon

This tournament didn't really live up to the standards set in previous years. The meteo test was highly cryptic and weird and he didn't appreciate the multiple choice questions having choices that all seemed implausible, though he can't complain with placing 1st and finishing his Solon collection from 1-8. He's goddang pissed off due to the Solon ES's LOSING HIS EWS VIDEO AFTER IT HAD BEEN CLEARLY SENT IN WITH A GOOGLE FORM THAT WAS SENT TO HIM. yeah anyways idk.
